ALERTATHON'17 - Bangalore

ALERTATHON 2017 at Bengaluru, maiden edition witnessed around 750+ participated, which was held at Saint Joseph’s Indian School, near UB city, Bengaluru on 19th Nov’17.The run was flagged off by Alert Founder & trustees, Ms. Kala Balasundaram, Mr. Veerappan, Mr. Sarbajit and Mr. Manu, President of Rotary E-club, which had 10Kms & 5Kms category.

All finishers were awarded medals and the winners in each category were awarded with shield and gift hampers from zebronics by the chief guest, Mr. Aiyappa (Ranji Trophy cricketer).This is the first step taken by the participants towards becoming a trained member of their family in First Aid care & Emergency response, the training session will be planned during the month of December and January in various locations of Bangalore.

ALERTATHON'16 - Chennai

ALERTATHON 2016 maiden edition was successfully held on 9th October 2016 (Sunday) on the OMR roads with nearly 1000 registrations, received overwhelming response from many regular runners and ones new to running, as the run was also an effort to raise awareness about saving lives by getting trained in emergency response.

The run was flagged off by actor Amy Jackson after a Zumba warm up session. She also urged the runners thus - “Everyone running this morning represents your families first and so, get trained in first response and be the hero of your family”.

ALERTATHON'17 - Chennai

ALERTATHON 2017 second edition was successfully held on 8th October 2017 (Sunday) at Anna University, Chennai via boat club road with nearly 700+ registrations, received overwhelming response from many regular runners and ones new to running, as the run was also an effort to raise awareness about saving lives by getting trained in emergency response.

The participants also get training in PEER (Personal Empowerment in Emergency Response) – Basic, that will introduce the runners to basic life support at the ALERT Simulation lab for emergency response management, India’s first dedicated to a common man for skill development in emergency response. Get yourself trained and act in need.
